This is one of the many scenarios that may happen to you.

Be captivated by sheer exhilaration as the game takes hold and catapults you into the secret lives of the pursued.

The winner is the player who at the end of the game, has acquired the title of Hydro Lord. Good Luck!

About the Game

The game is comprised of a 4 month cycle broken down into 31 days, 28 days, 31 days and 30 days, played with 2-6 players.

Aim

The aim is to buy a business set-up in any month that you are in, go around the board and once you enter that month, you may collect a specified amount of money by selling that set-up. You can purchase a set-up of any size in each and every month if you wish, giving you a large income each time you enter a new month and saving this money for larger and larger set-ups, until you become Hydro Lord.

Winning the Title of Hydro Lord

The title is won by the first player to receive payment for a $250,000 set-up; unless all other players commit suicide before that time. A player can commit suicide during any stage of the game; all monies and set-ups are forfeited to the Public Funds.

Cheating

If you are caught stealing from the Public Funds, the penalty is a $20,000 fine or 20% of your set-ups costs and cash, whichever is greater.

If you are caught removing, adding or changing the position of set-ups on the board illegally, the penalty is the removal (of your opponents’ choice) of one of your set-ups, plus an outright bashing by your mates in which you find yourself in hospital and subsequently, miss a minimum of 10 minutes playing time.

To be found guilty of these offences, there must be a guilty verdict by a show of hands by the majority of the players.

Strategy Guide

If during the game you are on the Start Space make sure you purchase a set- up because if you roll a three (3) and you land on the red space, move back 4 spaces and pay the fine you are on; it sounds bad, but it gets better as you will see in the picture to the right.

You can now collect from your set-up in that month (if you have one) and now you are in a good position to collect from Government Payments and you set-up in the next month.
